We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. 1 Thessalonians 1:2
Paul begins his letter with this wonderful encouragement that he is always giving thanks and praying for the church. It is an example that we can learn from. As we are a blessing to others through our prayer they also are a blessing to us. So, we need to be encouraging and praying for one another. Let us pray that as we come before the Lord we would remember those around us lifting them to the Lord in praise and petition.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
